Latvia – VAT rate to decrease by 1% with effect from 1 July 2012

The Latvian government have confirmed that the standard VAT rate will decrease from 22% to 21% in order to come in line with other Baltic States (21% in Lithuania and 20% in Estonia).

The reduced VAT rate of 12% will remain unchanged.
