Online Sellers Tax Opportunity
Online sellers who have not paid all the tax they owe will have a week to register their intention to take part in an opportunity to get their tax affairs in order, offered by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
Those who register will benefit from lower penalties and will be offered a simple and straightforward way to put their tax affairs right. Those interested in this campaign, known as the e-Markets Disclosure Facility, must notify HMRC by 14 June and will then have until 14 September to give details and arrange payments of the tax owed.
