GST Registration

Registration threshold: CDN$ 30,000 revenues from GST-taxable and exempt with credit (zero-rated) supplies made in Canada.

 

GST Returns

The filing period depends on the turnover of the business:

  • monthly: CDN$ 6 million per year;
  • quarterly: CDN$ 500,000 - less than CDN$ 6M; or
  • annually: less than CDN$ 500,000.

The return should be filed within one month of the end of the reporting period.
