This live and interactive 60 minute webcast will focus on the correct use of the 'Plants Abroad' functionality in SAP. The Plants Abroad functionality has been designed by SAP for organisations that have warehouses or distribution centers in other EU countries. The functionality enables easier reporting with regards to VAT and Intrastat declarations enabling VAT and Intrastat postings for intra-company, cross border stock transfers.
During this webcast, we will be investigating the key issues associated with enabling this SAP feature and address some of the known and unknown risks with using the functionality. To make this interactive, we will also encourage participants to ask our experts live questions and share their experiences.

Roger Lindelauf, ERP VAT Consulting Lead, Meridian International VAT Consulting. Based in the Netherlands, Roger is a certified and experienced SAP consultant since 1987. Roger has worked on global VAT projects in leading companies such as Philips, Shell and RWE devising and implementing VAT configuration solutions to ensure full VAT compliance in complex SAP environments. Roger runs SAP VAT health checks for clients, advises on best practice configurations and develops and implements custom SAP VAT enhancements. Mother tongue: Dutch / Fluent: English, German.
Ryan Ostilly, Commercial Director - Meridian International VAT Consulting
Ryan joined Meridian in 1998 and is currently responsible for leading Meridian's tax intelligence and automation solutions across Europe. Prior to that, Ryan was Director of VAT operations and professional services, responsible for managing VAT processes in our Dublin Shared Services Centre as well as Meridian's consulting and advisory teams. Ryan has significant, practical international VAT and ERP systems experience, having designed and implemented solutions for some of Meridian's leading, multinational clients. Prior to joining Meridian, Ryan was IT Manager for professional services firm, Grant Thornton International. Ryan is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA).
